Cornwall Veterinary Clinic has been proud to serve Cornwall, Prince Edward Island and surrounding areas since it's opening in 1991 by Dr. David Sanderson. Since that time, the clinic has gained a reputation for developing loyal, longstanding relationships with it's clients based on exemplary patient care and excellence in customer service. The clinic has grown in recent years and is now owned and operated by

Our team is committed to educating our clients on how to keep pets healthy year after year and have a strong focus on client communication so that owners can be actively involved in their animals health. Cornwall Veterinary Clinic stays on top of the latest advances in veterinarian technology and above all, treats each animal like one of their own in every check-up, procedure, or surgery.
Meet the Team
Dr. Sheila McIver
Dr. Sheila completed her Bachelor of Science degree at UPEI and graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College in 2008. During these years she worked as a student at Cornwall Veterinary Clinic, then returned to PEI in 2015 to purchase the practice after having spent 7 years at a busy small animal practice in Edmonton. Dr. Sheila has an interest in dentistry and all things surgery, and believes that high quality preventative care contributes to long term quality of life for our pets. Sheila and her husband have a son and a daughter, and a three-legged cat named Cole Pfieffer. In their spare time, the family enjoys being outdoors, skiing, hiking, camping, travel, and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Andrea Studzinski
Dr. Andrea grew up in the Cornwall area and graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College in 1992. From there, she completed a one year small animal internship at Ontario Veterinary College, worked in Missassauga for two years, and then moved home with her husband to PEI. She began working at Cornwall Veterinary Clinic in 1996. Dr. Andrea has a son and daughter, 5 cats (Nero, Pudding, Blackberry and Katie inside and Tom the feral property protector outside!), and 3 horses (Buddy, Dan and Kohen). In her spare time, Dr. Andrea most enjoys long beach rides with her daughter, biking and growing orchids.
Dr. Jocelyn Bellefontaine
Dr. Jocelyn is originally from Nova Scotia and is a recent graduate of the Atlantic Veterinary College. Together, she and her partner have a pug named Ernie, a Golden Retriever named Ty, and two cats named Ollie and Rosie. Dr. Jocelyn enjoys spending her spare time at the barn horseback riding, hiking with her dogs and being with family and friends.
Linda was hired as a receptionist with the clinic in 1991 and since that time has been a vital part of the clinic's quality of service and client communication. Linda also serves as a veterinary assistant in both medical and surgical procedures. In her spare time, Linda enjoys the beach, spending time with family including her two children and two grandsons. Linda has an Australian Shepherd named Suzie and a three-legged cat named Beebee.
Samantha MacFadyen, RVT
Samantha began working at Cornwall Vet Clinic in 2019 after completing her Registered Veterinary Technician Program at Oulten College in Moncton. Sam calls Ellerslie home, so loves being back on the island with her Westie named Piper. In her spare time, Sam enjoys painting, relaxing with a book and spending time with her family.
Kelly joined the Cornwall Vet Clinic team in 2019 after a career in Retail Sales. Kelly most enjoys meeting new people and pets at the clinic in her role as Receptionist. Kelly and her husband have a cat named Callie, and they enjoy spending time with family and on on their boat in summer time.
Emily joined our team as a Veterinary Assistant after having worked several years at a busy small animal clinic in Vancouver. Emily plans to attend veterinary school here on the island and moved all the way across the country with her fiancé and their multiple animal family. When not working or hanging out with these guys, Emily enjoys exploring nature and refurbishing furniture.
