Meet the Team
Dr. Sheila McIver
Dr. Sheila McIver completed her Bachelor of Science degree at UPEI and graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College in 2008. During these years she worked as a student at Cornwall Veterinary Clinic, then returned to PEI in 2015 to purchase the practice after having spent 7 years at a busy small animal practice in Edmonton. Dr. Sheila has an interest in dentistry and all things surgery, and believes that high quality preventative care contributes to long term quality of life for our pets. Sheila and her husband have a son and a daughter, and a three-legged cat named Cole Pfieffer. In their spare time, the family enjoys being outdoors, skiing, hiking, camping, travel, and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Tamara Goff
Dr. Tamara Goff is a 2005 graduate of the Atlantic Veterinary College. Following graduation she practiced at several clinics in Ontario and New Brunswick. Although Dr. Goff is originally from Nova Scotia, she fell in love with the island during her years at school as has been happy to be back on PEI since 2011. Dr. Goff holds particular interest in ophthalmology and internal medicine. Outside of the clinic Dr. Goff enjoys spending time with her son and other fur-babies (Lab-cross Django, and kitties Gandalf and Hobbit) and participating in Zumba classes.
Dr. Andrea Studzinski
Dr. Andrea grew up in the Cornwall area and graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College in 1992. From there, she completed a one year small animal internship at Ontario Veterinary College, worked in Missassauga for two years, and then moved home with her husband to PEI. She began working at Cornwall Veterinary Clinic in 1996. Dr. Andrea has a son and daughter, 5 cats (Nero, Pudding, Blackberry and Katie inside and Tom the feral property protector outside!), and 3 horses (Buddy, Dan and Kohen). In her spare time, Dr. Andrea most enjoys long beach rides with her daughter, biking and growing orchids.
Falina Dovick, RVT
Although Falina has explored a few different career pathways, she knew she always felt best when she was helping animals. She completed a diploma in Veterinary Technology in 2015, and began working at Cornwall Veterinary Clinic immediately after! Falina has a soft spot for our feline friends, and along with her boyfriend currently has 2 cats (Blind Mag and Hubert Cumberdale). She also has several pet mice. Falina enjoys reading, staying active and spending time with her family on her days off.
Linda was hired as a receptionist with the clinic in 1991 and since that time has been a vital part of the clinic's quality of service and client communication. Linda also serves as a veterinary assistant in both medical and surgical procedures. In her spare time, Linda enjoys the beach, spending time with family including her two children and two grandsons. Linda has an Australian Shepherd named Suzie and a three-legged cat named Beebee.
Samantha began working at Cornwall Vet Clinic in 2019 after completing her Registered Veterinary Technician Program at Oulten College in Moncton. Sam calls Ellerslie home, so loves being back on the island with her Westie named Piper. In her spare time, Sam enjoys painting, relaxing with a book and spending time with her family.
